After Mahindra and Mahindra Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) Quanto, Nissan has also launched its Multi Purpose Vehicle (MUV) Nissan Evalia on 25th September 2012. Nissan has already showcased Nissan Evalia as Nissan NV200 during Auto Expo 2012.
Nissan has launched Evalia in four diesel variants with bottom end variant at a price of 849000/- and top end variant is priced at 999000/-. Its four variants are XE, XE plus, XL and XV.
Nissan Evalia has an engine displacement of 1461cc, 1.5 dCi (4 cylinder 8 value) with maximum power of 83.8bhp@3750 RPM and Max Torque of 200Nm@2000 RPM. Nissan Evalia has 5 Speed Manual Transmission. Within 12.7 seconds Nissan Evalia can take a speed of 0-60 km/hr.
Nissan Evalia has some features that make it unique among other MUV. It has a rear view camera placed in the rear, front fog lamps, boot space for keeping luggage can be increased by simply folding back seats in a row and strut front suspension.
Nissan Evalia is quite simple and plain in its exteriors. Its design is not much attractive. The front end, sloping shape towards bumper, smiling faces chrome grill and triangular shaped headlamps. Its ORVM’s are of body color only. The rear end, Nissan Evalia is flat at the rear giving it a plain and box look. It has lamp placed at a height to ensure the safety and a large gate opening to place all items easily.
In its interiors, Nissan Evalia is meant for 7 persons at a time. It has a very attractive dashboard which is main attraction in the interiors of the car. The interior of the car is far better than the exteriors of the Nissan Evalia. The key has sensors which can lock and unlock the car automatically if some takes keys out of your pocket. It is very comfortable car for long drives or long journey.
