Gabbar Singh – The Telegu Remake of Hindi Movie Dabangg

Set for a worldwide release on 18 May 2012 the Telegu action film, Gabbar Singh is already making waves all over the country and in particular the South. Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan starrer Gabbar Singh is a remake of the 2010 Salman Khan starrer blockbuster Hindi movie Dabangg. The movie has been produced under the banner of Parameshwara Art Productions by Bandla Ganesh and is directed by the young and successful Telegu film Director, Harish Shankar.

The Telegu film Gabbar Singh has already picked up much hype and people are eagerly waiting for its release. As according to Bandla Ganesh, the producer of Gabbar Singh, “Expectations on the film are rising day by day. Our film will live up to the hype and be the biggest hit in Pawan Kalyan’s career. Devi Sri Prasad has lent extraordinary scores”.

The castings of Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles have added to the overall expectations from the film as both of them are successful and widely admired Telegu movie stars. Malaika Arora Khan, who did the original “Munni Badnam Hui…” in Dabangg is also doing an item song in Gabbar Singh. The other casts in the film include Abhimanyu Singh, Kota, Suhasini (playing Pawan’s mother), Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani, Ajay, Nagineedu, Rao Ramesh, Giri, Ali, Sathyam Rajesh, Master Akash and Master Nagan.

Gabbar Singh has some great music scores composed by Devi Sri Prasad. It has melodious songs such as “Dekho Dekho Gabbar Singh…”, “Kewu Keka…”, “Dil se…” and others too. Cinematography of the movie has been done by Jayanan Vincent, Gautham Raju is the editor and it has Art work by Brahma Kadali. Ramesh Reddy and Vegeshna Satish have done the Screenplay and the fights are by Ram-Lakshman.

So get set to watch the action packed Telegu film, Gabbar Singh, this coming season. The curtains will fall down on 18 May with the release of Gabbar Singh – The Telegu Remake of Hindi Film Dabangg.
