First CMAT 2012 Exam Date Announced for Management Courses

Exam dates for first ever Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) are officially announced and it will be held twice a day over period of nine days. Students can appear in this first CMAT exam on any day from 20 to 28 February 2012.

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is test for admission in MBA and Management diploma courses in India. CMAT is approved by AICTE and after qualifying this exam you can get admission in around 5000 colleges in India. It is a good step for student who appear on different state level exam to get admission in different college. By this exam you can apply different colleges. After CMAT exam AICTE will be holding about 4 Lakh management seats across India.

Registration for CMAT 2012 will start from December 9th and last date for registration is 9th February 2012. Student can register online to appear in this exam first they have to create User ID and password on AICTE website and have to process the payment either online or offline mode. You can print Hall Ticket from 30.01.2012.

To register online you must have valid email id and Mobile number because all communication will be done thru email and SMS. Students can pay exam fees online or offline. After registration you can pay fee online thru Debit or Credit card. If you want to pay offline you have to print 3 copy of CHALLAN (Which will be created online from your ID) and you can pay exam fee in any SBI Branch. Please note you can deposit fee in bank next day of generation of Challan.

Test timing for CMAT is 9.30 AM – 12.30 PM and 2.30 PM – 5.30 PM. Results will be declared on 11th March 2012. You can printout score card from 11th March 2012 to 11th April 2012.

It is better to register as early as possible for this exam because seats will be allocated on first come first served basis. There are limited centres and is expected lot of students will appear in this exam so don’t miss your seat.

Test Fee for CMAT 2012:
General/OBC – Rs.1200 + Bank charges as applicable
SC/ST/PD – Rs.600 + Bank charges as applicable

Mode of Payment:

Online through www.aicte-cmat.in
Offline: Through challan generated online and Cash deposited in any branch of State Bank of India.
