Bajaj Auto which is one of the largest two-wheeler manufacturers in India has launched a new and powerful 100cc bike for the Indian market. Bajaj Auto’s latest addition in the 100cc bike segment is named as Bajaj Discover 100T which as claimed by Bajaj Auto is the most powerful and technically superior 100cc bike in the Indian context. Bajaj Discover 100T will be available at a price tag of Rs. 50500 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Bajaj Discover 100T has been packed with powerful features to provide the Indian commuters with a stylish 100cc bike which delivers great performance and mileage too. Bajaj Discover 100T will compete with the likes of Honda Dream Yuga and Hero Splendor. Bajaj Auto aims to increase its market share by another 10 percent with the launch of Discover 100T. It expects to get monthly sales of 45000 units (approx) for Bajaj Discover 100T.
Bajaj Discover 100T gets a powerful 100cc engine which produces 5-speed transmission together with a power output of 10.2PS @ 9000rpm. This is an astonishing 30 percent more as compared to the power output of any other 100cc bike. And that’s not all, as it also generates a superb torque of 9.2Nm @ 6500rpm. Moreover, it is first time in the world that a 100cc bike (Bajaj Discover 100T) is featuring the 4-valve DTS-I technology.
Further, Bajaj claims that Discover 100T will deliver an impressive mileage of 87 kmpl. Bajaj Discover 100T comes loaded with features like auto choke, electric start, alloy wheels, and DC headlamps. Discover 100T comes with drum brakes at the rear as well as at the front. Discover 100T is almost similar in looks as Discover 125ST, but features gas-filled Nitrox shocks instead of the rear mono-shock suspension available in Discover 125ST. Bajaj Discover 100T will be available in four vibrant colors of black blue, black red, flame red and brilliant blue.
All-in-all, Bajaj Discover 100T is a stylish, powerful and affordable bike in the 100cc segment.
