Ford India has launched New Ford Fiesta in India, costing approximately 8.23 Lacks (of course, it’s ex-showroom price at Delhi!).
The petrol variant Ford Fiesta is powered by a 1.5 L Ti-VCT engine which delivers 109PS at 6045 RPM and mileage of 17 kmpl. Whereas the diesel Fiesta which is equipped with a turbocharger and intercooler, is powered by a 1.5L Duratorq TDCi that puts out 90 BHP at 3,750 RPM and 204 Nm of torque at 2000 – 2750 RPM.
Equipped with intelligent steering technology, Ford Fiesta harbors Energy absorbing bumpers & Crumple Zone with Engine immobilizer. The doors are reinforced with child lock and as far as the transmission is concerned, it’s 5-speed manual Transmission.
With Guide me Home Headlamp and Intelligent Rear Defogger / Demister the car is also provided with Cruise control.
No need to say, Ford has reformed the old Fiesta to present you this master piece. With the new stunning looks, Ford Fiesta is inspired by what we call as kinetic Design.
The front is admirable with huge trapezoidal grille with headlamps to give the car a distinct impression of an angry cat. Now when it comes to tail lights, the tail lamps have a leaf like structure and a honey comb design.
As far as the engines are concerned, Ford has introduced something new. Instead of going to the conventional 1.6L Duratec and 1.4L Duratorq, Ford introduced improved versions of the same. Also Ford has introduced higher profile tires of 195/60 R15 to precise.
One more remarkable thing with the fiesta is that it’s no more hydraulic steering, instead it comprises of electronic steering and yes, the experiment is successful also. The electronic steering wheel makes driving effortless, convenient and fun.
The interiors comprises of black and silver combination (No wooden theme, of course). But the plastic quality is not up to the mark.
The instrument cluster layout is really cool at night looks great with its sharp yellow lights and red needles. The grip of the steering wheel is excellent and is provided with 5 way buttons for audio, phone and voice recognition controls. And as far as the space is concerned the car is roomy enough to make the passengers comfortable.
Moreover the car is made intelligent with the voice recognition feature. All you require is to press a button on the indicator stick and speak a few commands and the car does accordingly. Additionally, you may like the features like Automatic climate control, auto retracting electric mirrors with indicators, speed sensing lock and rear parking sensors.
Needless to say, with the genetic code of Ford, the Ford Fiesta offers what it promises. So, Buying the Ford Fiesta, which is available at 8.23 lacks, is not a bad choice.
