Maruti Suzuki is back to capture the Indian market with its new version of Ritz and that too running on diesel. It has unveiled its 4 models on 3rd September 2012 in Mumbai. It has been priced from 5.31 Lakhs to 6.23 Lakhs with three new colors (Mystic Red, Granite Grey, and Breeze Blue).
The new Ritz has an engine of 1248 DDiS which help him in increasing the fuel efficiency. The new Ritz diesel engine has a supreme power of 75ps@4000 RPM, torque of 190Nm@ 2000 RPM and multi injection 5-step technology for graceful and smooth driving. Ritz can easily have a speed of 60 kmph in just 5-6 seconds which is astonishing.
Maruti Suzuki has launched the new Ritz by adding many more and unique features from the previous model of Ritz. The new Ritz has 52 new features as compared to previous Ritz both in exteriors as well as interiors like New front design, Elegant Body Side moldings, Red dual tone interiors, New Audio with USB, Day & Night IRVM, Sporty rear spoiler, Improved rear seating with improved lumbar support and many more.
Another unique and fabulous change in new Suzuki Ritz is its fuel efficiency. New Ritz has 10% improvement in its fuel efficiency, now it can run 23.2 kmpl as compared to 21.1kmpl. And this is possible only because of expert company’s engineers. Its fuel efficiency feature will make it more demanding in the Indian market.
Maruti Suzuki has introduced for the first time a car with ZDi variant (Diesel) and with so many new and unique features like front air bags, Alloy Wheels, and audio controls on steering at only Rs. 6.23 Lakhs. The previous Ritz has crossed 200000 sales in just 3 years, so the company is expecting high sales of these new Ritz Diesel variants.
