Honda BRIO the cheapest offering car by Honda Siel Cars India Ltd, the leading manufacturer of cars in India was launched yesterday. Despite with a starting price of Rs 3.95 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi), Honda BRIO is the complete package for a new generation that represents the best of Honda’s technologies to deliver fun and swift driving, fuel-efficiency, spaciousness & safety.
Honda, a Japanese venture is passing through the bad times after being affected by the shocking tsunami in Japan in March and recalling of more than 70,000 City sedans to replace faulty power window switches. Although in India it basically deals with the sedans like civic, city, etc. but this time due to hard competitions from the other brands and to make a further move to turn their wheels Honda launched a low segment car Brio in India meaning “energetic”.
The Brio is powered by a four cylinder 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine that delivers maximum output of 88 PS @ 6000 rpm and Torque of 109 Nm (11.2 kg-m) @ 4600 rpm and will give excellent fuel economy of 18.4 km/l, assured by the Company . Brio has 5-speed manual transmission with optimized gear ratios, which offers excellent low rpm acceleration, thus making it enjoyable and fun to drive.
Sleek Exterior: Brio gives an efficient energetic look with advanced styling. Its enchanting premium front grille, large headlamps and wide stance gives you the robust and stable driving experience and the sporty aerodynamic and lightweight alloy wheels gives you the most wanted desired speed. Interiors: Honda Brio comes with an efficient impressive interior design to offer occupants an open and spacious interior. The car is 610 mm long, 1680 mm wide and 1500 mm tall.
