Lovely comparison, but you have missed out on the most important aspect – mileage. Rising prices of fuel need the reliable comparison based on mileage for people like me – with no love lost for looks etc. Hope you keep it mind next time.
Thanx for the post. It was helpful though. NK

  8. Bala says

Hello Anuj, In my 18 yrs master tech in Yamaha dealer service in chennai mani, I would say the very good motorcycle for you Mahindra Staillo. I tell you the reasons, 4 yrs service and maintenance free. Peace of mind. 250 KPD is more than average ride for human body to accept shoulder vibration. staillo have alloy wheels that takes 70% of front vibration and low wight. The seat design and sculpted will give you wonderful joy of ride and less back pain or almost no pain. the tubed frame give you more road grip and extra control when you apply sudden brake in case. I felt like RX100 after long time in now days bikes. Fuel consumption also very decent. Please ignore all the fancy like tail and head lights and extra junks. If you want go for race then go for something else. If you look for dependability and good commuter you choice should be Mahindra staillo. Good luck. PS: I am not working for Mahindra. I work for Yamaha only 100s.

I have two bikes, Pulsar 220 and Honda Twister. Pulsar is good as it was but honda twister has become an headache for me. Mileagr is going down and down with every service and also Power is not that much as a 100cc bike should have.. I won’t recommend you Splendour because the look is so retro.. i won’t recommend you Yamaha either because they are not economical.. but please ignore Honda twister.. LOOK IS NOT EVERYTHING..
